Our Standard Return Policy extends 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since you have received your purchase (unless you've purchased Kover Return Assurance for eligible items), we can not offer you a refund nor an exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Items marked on Sale, Final Sale, and Clearance can not be returned except where return options (* KOVER RETURN ASSURANCE) are purchased from our offered provider for the relevant collections (see detailed information below). We also do not accept returns on products that are intimate nor sanitary goods under any circumstance.
You can purchase Kover Return Assurance at checkout if you want the option to return items listed as Sale, Clearance, and Final Sale. If you choose not to purchase Kover Return Assurance, your purchase of these particular items will be treated as a Final Sale and be subject to our Standard Return Policy. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of satisfying our customers. We stand behind our goods and services and want customers to be satisfied with them.
To that end, we'll always do our best to take care of you and to deal with you fairly and reasonably; we hope you will be fair and reasonable with us as well.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. However, check with your financial institution periodically, as they have varying processing times, to confirm receipt.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at CustomerService@Americankettle.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned unless Kover Return Assurance has been purchased on these items.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, ill-fitting, or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please submit your request here.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchanging your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund where applicable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping (returning/exchanging) an item valued at or over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What items are returnable?
- Eligible Items returned within 14 days of receipt of your shipment (30 days if you've purchased Kover Return Assurance on eligible items)
- Items In it's original condition (Unwashed, Unworn & Undamaged w/Tags still attached in it's original packaging)
- Items that were received damaged or defective (you must notify us within 5 days of receipt* that you've received a damaged item to be considered!)

Are there any charges for return?
There are no administrative charges for returns. However, original shipping charges are non-refundable and you are responsible for the return shipping charges which will be deducted from your refund.
We hope to build trust with our customers and create a relationship with you for the long term. Standing behind what we sell is a big part of that. We think many customers choose to shop with us because they know if their purchase isn't right, we'll work to fix it. You will not be held responsible for the shipping charges incurred for damaged items you've received nor items sent to you in error.
Note: Please follow the packing instructions included in your shipment.
Refused Packages: Any order that is unable to be delivered will be treated as a return and a credit of the purchase amount, less any shipping charges (including return shipping), will be refunded to your original payment method.
Cancelled Orders: As we are vigilant in our efforts to ensure authentic transactions and protect our customers, there is a 24hr - 48hr delay in processing your order. We use this window to verify funds and the transaction. You are able to cancel your order within this window without issue. However, once you order has been verified and the order is in processing, you can not cancel. If you no longer want the item, the return/exchange option is available.
Note: Kover Return Assurance fees are non-refundable and will be deducted if you choose to cancel your order within the allowed time frame.

Get peace of mind while purchasing clearance, sale, and final sale items when you add Kover Return Assurance.
You’ll have the option to return eligible clearance, sale, and final sale items by adding Return Assurance at checkout. We’ll calculate the cost based on all eligible items in your cart. Some exclusions will apply.
All standard return policies apply to eligible item(s). The items must be unwashed, unused, and undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags attached.

We are unable to offer free shipping on eligible item(s) returned. American Kettle will provide a prepaid return shipping label. We will deduct the standard $5.99 return shipping fee from your refund when processing the return.
Return Assurance is currently only offered on orders shipping to addresses in the United States.
